Bookings & scheduling
How do I book a driver?+
Sign in, open Book a driver, choose a vehicle class (sedan, SUV, sprinter, cargo van, box truck, or elite), pick a time block, enter pickup and dropoff, and confirm. You'll see the full price — base rate, platform fee, gas surcharge estimate, and tolls — before you authorize the card.
What time blocks can I book?+
Quarter day (2 hr), third day (3 hr), half day (4 hr), and full day (8 hr). You can add extended hours and pre-paid overtime at checkout. Single-stop courier sends are billed per delivery, not per block.
How far in advance can I book?+
Scheduled bookings can be placed up to 60 days out. Instant bookings match you with the closest qualified driver in real time, typically within 2–8 minutes depending on your market.
Can I cancel or reschedule?+
Yes. Cancellations more than 4 hours before pickup are free. Inside 4 hours, a cancellation fee applies (split between booker and driver based on fault). Reschedules inside the same day are free if the driver hasn't already departed.
What's the difference between scheduled and instant booking?+
Scheduled bookings lock a specific driver for a future window. Instant booking broadcasts your job to nearby qualified drivers and matches the first who accepts — best for same-hour pickups.

Payments, fees & refunds
When is my card charged?+
We authorize (hold) the full estimated amount when you book. The actual charge posts after the job completes and final mileage, gas, and tolls are reconciled. If the final is lower, the difference is released back to your card within 3–5 business days.
What is held funds / escrow?+
Once your card is authorized, the funds sit in platform escrow — neither you nor the driver can touch them. After the job completes and the customer-confirm window passes (typically 24 hours), the funds release to the driver's payout balance. Disputes pause the release automatically.
What fees does the platform charge?+
Bookers pay the listed rate plus a small platform fee shown at checkout. Drivers receive their share minus a platform commission that varies by tier (Standard, Verified, Elite). Gas surcharges and tolls are pass-through — the platform does not mark them up.
How do gas surcharges work?+
We estimate gas using state average prices and the route's miles, and add it as a transparent line item. After the trip, the actual mileage from the driver's odometer photos reconciles the surcharge — overages are billed, savings are refunded.
When do drivers get paid?+
Driver payouts release automatically 24 hours after job completion if no dispute is filed. Standard ACH payouts land in 1–2 business days. Elite drivers get same-day payout on completed runs.
Do you accept tips?+
Yes — pre-job tips are added at booking and post-job tips can be added from the receipt for up to 7 days. 100% of tips go to the driver.

Sending items & courier
What can I send?+
Documents, packages, food, retail goods, business inventory, and small freight up to your selected vehicle's capacity. Hazardous materials, illegal items, live animals (except service animals), and unaccompanied minors are prohibited.
Do you require proof of delivery?+
Yes. Drivers capture a photo at pickup and dropoff. Signature capture is available for high-value or business deliveries. All proof artifacts attach to your receipt.
What if the recipient isn't there?+
The driver will wait up to 10 minutes (included), then either re-attempt at a stated time or return the item to you for a return-trip fee. You'll be notified in real time and can redirect the drop in-app.
Is signature required?+
Optional at checkout. We recommend it for items over $200, business deliveries, and anything legally sensitive.

Safety & Motha Rescue
What is Motha Rescue?+
Motha Rescue is our 24/7 trust & recovery layer. If a job is disrupted — abandonment, tampering, breakdown, unsafe behavior, or a missing driver — we pause payouts, walk you through the incident report, and can dispatch a rescue driver to recover the load or finish the trip.
How do I trigger Rescue?+
From any active job screen, tap the Rescue button. For immediate physical danger, call 911 first, then trigger Rescue so we can coordinate. Rescue is included for all bookings — no additional fee for the trigger itself.
Are drivers tracked during the job?+
Yes. GPS tracking is active from job acceptance through completion. Bookers see a live map. After completion, location data is retained for 30 days for dispute resolution and then purged.
What background checks do drivers go through?+
Identity verification, driving record (MVR), criminal background check, and license validation. CDL drivers undergo additional DOT-compliant screening including drug testing. Second-chance applicants go through an expanded review with appropriate safeguards.
Is there insurance coverage?+
Optional coverage tiers cover both drivers (occupational) and items in transit (cargo). Tiers range from basic ($1K cargo) to premium ($10K cargo + injury). Claims are reviewed — they're not guaranteed instant payouts. See the coverage page for full terms.

Disputes
How do I file a dispute?+
From the booking detail page, tap Open a dispute. Choose a category (damage, no-show, billing, behavior, other), describe what happened, and upload photos or video. Funds for that booking move to held status immediately.
How long does a dispute take?+
Most disputes resolve within 48–72 hours. Our AI triage reviews evidence first, then escalates anything ambiguous to a human ops reviewer. Complex cases (multi-party, large dollar) can take 5–7 business days.
Can I appeal a decision?+
Yes. You have 7 days to request founder-level review by replying in the dispute thread with new evidence or context. Founder review is final.
Do disputes affect driver ratings?+
Only resolved disputes against the driver count toward their rating. Withdrawn or driver-favorable outcomes do not.

Driving with Motha
Who can apply to drive?+
Anyone 21+ with a valid US driver's license, vehicle (or access to a CDL fleet vehicle), insurance, and a clean enough record to pass our review. We welcome second-chance applicants — felonies, DUIs, and gaps don't auto-disqualify; we review case by case.
What are the driver tiers?+
Standard (sedan/SUV — basic verification), Verified (added background + drug test, higher rates), and Elite (full vetting, premium clientele, top payout share). You can progress through tiers as you complete jobs and pass additional checks.
Do I need my own vehicle?+
Not for CDL fleet driving — apply to our CDL Fleet program and we provide the truck. For standard rideshare/courier, yes, you need your own vehicle that meets year and condition standards (generally 2015 or newer, no major cosmetic damage).
What does a driver actually earn?+
Driver share varies by tier (60–80% of the base rate after platform fees) plus 100% of tips and pass-through gas/tolls. Elite drivers earn the highest share and get same-day payout. Detailed earnings projections are in the driver dashboard.
How long does the application take?+
Most applications are decided within 24–48 hours. Background and license verification are the slowest steps — usually 1–3 business days. You can track every step in your driver dashboard.

Carriers, fleets & loadboard
What is the loadboard?+
A subscription marketplace where carriers and fleet operators see posted routes, apply to loads, and dispatch their drivers. It includes both single-shipper jobs and recurring lanes.
How much does loadboard access cost?+
Plans start at the Fleet tier — see the Pricing page for current pricing. Your first booking after signup is free under our Free Until First Event program.
Can I manage multiple drivers?+
Yes. Carriers and Enterprise accounts get multi-driver dispatch, per-driver earnings reports, compliance tracking, and consolidated billing.
Do you offer enterprise contracts?+
Yes. Apply through Enterprise → Apply for dedicated lanes, SLA-backed routing, custom invoicing, and a named account manager. Approval is reviewed by our enterprise team.

Account & platform
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. Bookers can sign up free and pay per booking. New accounts get Free Until First Event — no subscription charges until your first completed job. Drivers and carriers have tier-based plans starting at $0.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). ACH is available for Enterprise accounts on net-15 invoicing terms.
Where do you operate?+
All 50 US states. Coverage density varies by market — major metros have instant booking; rural areas may require scheduled booking with longer lead times.
How do I delete my account?+
From Settings → Privacy, request account deletion. We'll close the account within 7 days and purge personal data per our privacy policy. Active bookings, disputes, and payouts must complete first.
How do I contact support?+
